My Teaching Philosophy-

I consider myself very fortunate to have had a couple of great teachers so far in my life. As I grew more hungry for knowledge of music and the guitar and advanced my formal studies, I realized this more and more.

Throughout the years I've taught hundreds of students and there are a few things that I've found to be true and consistent with most things.

  • Regardless of how good we get there are always players we can learn from (stay humble and open minded)

  • No matter how good we play we will always have the desire to become better players (human nature)

  • As we may sometimes feel frustrated due to natural learning plateaus, it's important to remember that there are many people who wish they could play the guitar at our current level (appreciate your talent)

I truly enjoy sharing my passion for the craft of music and the guitar with students regardless of what level they may be or what musical interest they have. I consider myself very fortunate to be able to do so.

I hope to have the opportunity to sit in front of you some day and make an impact on your guitar playing.

Please get in touch to discuss your musical goals.

Keep picking, strumming and having fun!
